The Founder
A note from behind the counter
I started DragonVaultEmpire in a damp Ropewalks basement in 2016 with three flickering cabinets and a soldering iron that had seen better decades. The dream was simple: give Liverpool a place where the coin-op era never ended.
Every machine on our floor is repaired, re-capped, and calibrated by hand. We write our own games too — pixel-perfect shooters and beat-em-ups scored by local synth artists.
Whether you grew up feeding 10p pieces into Ropewalks arcades or you have never held a joystick, there is a seat here with your name on the leaderboard.
